Prior to the end of the Academic Year

Create New Academic Year to set the date for rollover. This can be set to any date to promote students into new year groups. 

         

Copy previous set up.  Retains set up for behaviour, attendance marks, homework and seating plan data sets. 

Staff: record changes to teaching staff in staff records. Add in new staff joining for the next academic year and leavers at the end of the year with leaving dates. 

Adding a new staff member

 

Student Houses: copy house structure and students. (Optional)

 

Departments: copy and set up departments in the new academic year. Required prior to setting up courses. Manage Departments (MIS)

 

Courses: copy courses into the new academic year or set up new courses to start in the new year.  Curriculum Management – Courses

 

Groups: Export group memberships to update and re-import for the new academic year. Managing group memberships

 

Markbooks: set up and copy markbooks required for the next year. Any new assessment marksheets can be added once markbooks are copied over. 

 

Leavers: set leaving dates for students to off-roll and update course memberships. This can be backdated once exam results are released to retain communication and access for parents and students. End of Year leavers process

 

Timetable import: upload a new timetable. Support team will complete this process currently. 

 

Pre-admission: add new admissions via admission groups, import admissions from transfer files. Admissions 

 

Pastoral structure: allocate pre-admissions to registration groups and/or Houses. 

Use Registration courses and add students to registration groups via the group upload. Pastoral course and group managment

Set up calendar with training days and school holidays. Important as makes attendance analysis accurate for possible days attendance. Calendar and timetable settings

 

Enrol Pre-admission students
